Oof, the characters just totally changed in Season 9. It was a wild time in Hope Valley, thatβs for sure! It sure is good to be back and I am glad that everyone is finally back to themselves. π Thanks for commenting!!
Kaycee, I am SO glad you are back talking WCTH once again. I have always enjoyed your perspective and thoughts on the show. Also loved last season when you hopped on with Sarah & Julie during a few of their lives after the show. Like you I took a break after s8. Honesty, I had assumed it would be a forever break. I hated the way s8 made me feel and thatβs not why I started watching the show back when it premieredβ¦ not even my love of Rosemary with all her flare and inappropriate mustard could save HV for me. Though I had been a long time watcher I never really was active on social media and I thought it would be fun to join for s8. Man was I wrong about that in the end. So I left that too and went on about my business. I would check in on some tweets/blogs every once in a while to see if things were changing in HV and just happened upon one of those situations around the time of s10 e9. When l heard about the panic attack I knew something was up. There would be no reason to stir that particular pot if not for a very good reason. And so slowly started testing the waters again and then started reading/watching commentaries about what had happened in the season. Like you by the end of s6 I was totally on board with Nathan being the one for Elizabeth and that only grew as the seasons went on. Though I thought the Elizabeth/Jack story was sweet and I enjoyed it, I think I was able to detach myself from that much more quickly once I found out Dan wanted to leave which really put the show in a bind and I knew they did the best they could with a really difficult and unfortunate situation. Anyway enough of my ramble. Iβm really glad you are back in the WCTH fold and like you Iβm really excited to see where the story takes us in s11. Take care & God bless! πβ€οΈ
Hey, Lauren! Thanks so much for responding! I absolutely get it and felt the same way. I only started watching S10 because I knew I was watching S10E2 with Kami since I was going to be down in Texas celebrating her birthday. Otherwise, I likely would have waited like most others. It sure feels good to be back! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on S11 so far! My recap is coming soonβ¦ hopefully! π
